It’s Alive! Omni Reboot Begins (Second) Life

on Thursday, Aug. 8th

A whole generation of science weirdos–myself included–grew up with OMNI, the science magazine that pushed the limits of the imagination.

As of today, the spirit of OMNI is back in the form of OMNI Reboot, a blog that looks to pick up the torch that the former magazine left behind.

In her opening mission statement Omni Reboot editor-in-chief Claire L. Evans as "a future radar". She sees OMNI Reboot writers as seekers:

Sometimes this search will lead them to strange places, to examine phenomena not ordinarily seen in science magazines. It will lead them to the arts, to music, to the unexplained, to all the weird corners of human thought.

Sounds like home.
