The Dish & The Spoon’s Director Kickstarts New Feature

on Thursday, Apr. 4th

The Dish & The Spoon was one of my favorite films of 2011, and I couldn’t be happier that writer-director Alison Bagnall is back with a new film, Funny Bunny.

Actually I could, because Funny Bunny is just a Kickstarter campaign right now. A film with a solid cast including Olly Alexander of The Dish… and Kate Lyn Sheil of Silver Bullets. A Kickstarter campaign with just nine days left to raise nine thousand more dollars. A bit from the campaign page after the jump.

Funny Bunny tells the story of how three afflicted people help each other find the elusive path to happiness they thought was all but lost, and what a funny and touching ride it is on the way.

This story has lingered in my head for a number of years and refuses to go away.

Fortunately, the story has also infected a wonderful team of producers, actors, and collaborators who now have the same story kicking around in their heads and are eager to see it on the screen.

You know what will make me happy.
