Never Built: Los Angeles (Kickstarter Campaign)

I need this to become a reality. You see, I have a thing about the alternate versions of cities, the one’s that got away, and this Kickstarter campaign to create an exhibit at Los Angeles’ A+D Architecture and Design Museum of the LA that almost was? It’s almost a dream come true. Models, plans, and a giant floor map will turn the museum into a vision of this alternate LA. –Noah Nelson

Mel Brooks on Marc Maron’s WTF (Podcast)

If Mel Brooks hadn’t existed, the world would be a much less funny place. This week on the WTF Podcast we get to know his story a little better. The 86 year old who made Blazing Saddles, The History of the World Part 1, and Young Frankenstein, basically tells the story of the last 50 years of American comedy.

Later this week, WTF will turn to Brooks’ long-time writing partner and friend, Carl Reiner.-Ike Sriskandarajah
