Flatbush Zombies “Face Off”

Brandon McFarland on Friday, Jun. 29th

Just when I thought the whole the bath salt zombie thing was dying down, rap duo Flatbush Zombies felt it only fitting to their namesake to keep the torch lit with their new music video to their song “Face Off.”

The video samples the news broadcasts about the “cannibal” attack in Miami. The raps are good despite its trite, but honest, subject matter. No, they don’t literally chew faces, but according to a VICE interview with the Brooklyn-based group, they do take a smorgasbord of drugs.

Update: It turns out that Rudy Eugene (the face eater) was not high on bath salts at all after A toxicology report on Wednesday failed to find “bath salts” or any other major street drugs in Eugene’s system.

Now, let us just put this all behind us.
