We are LIVE at the Downtown Independent, just on the border of Little Tokyo here in Los Angeles for the 2012 Los Angeles Music Video Festival.

We’ll be podcasting all weekend long (internet gods willing) with interviews featuring the video directors, guests, and maybe a few special surprises.

EPISODE FOUR: LAMAR+NIK, who have a brilliant video in the student section, drove all the way out from Oklahoma on Thursday night to get to LA on Friday.

EPISODE FIVE: Roman Makush, director of the video ‘Murda! Murda!’ (student section) talks about the video’s message.

EPISODE SIX: We nerd out hard with Arms Race, director of the post-apocalyptic video for We Barbarians’ song Chambray.

EPISODE SEVEN: Dennis Roberts, whose video for the band Icewater’s song I Know That Dream has some nifty stage trickery, stops by the table to talk about the making of his video.

EPISODE EIGHT: Hank Friedman, the director of the visually stunning video Other Lives for the band Tamer Animals, stops by to get all cinephile with us.

EPISODE NINE: Leah McKissock was the winner in the student category at last year’s LAMVF. This year she’s back with a video competing in the non-narrative category.

EPISODE TEN: Matt Stone made a brilliant short blast of awesome with a video for Deadmau5 that competed in the Unoffical Video category at this year’s LAMVF.

EPISODE ELEVEN:  Jordan Bahat, stops by the green room at the LAMVF to talk to  about his history with the band Grouplove.

EPISODE TWELVE: Festival founder Sami Kriegstein swings by the green room to tell us who won this year’s Los Angeles Music Vide Festival and do a little celebrating as the wrap-party rolls.
