A Moment Of Tension At Oakland’s Port During General Strike

Thousands of protesters from Occupy Oakland marched to the Port of Oakland on November 2nd to shut down operations for the night. Once the port was closed, members of the protest were divided on whether to let the longshoremen dock workers who were on duty at the time to leave. After some debate, the workers were granted access to leave through the picket line.
