The Atlantic reported on a recent study by the Brookings Institute and the Public Religion Research Institute, which shows that 47 percent of Americans believe that Muslim values are incompatible with American values. The strongest correlation that the study found, however, did not link this belief to one’s political party, but to the news station they watched. The chart above shows that those who report to watch Fox News are much more likely to see the Muslim community as being at odds with American values.
