Minorities Are The Majority In 22 Metropolitan Areas

New census data from 2010 shows that minorities make up the majority of the population in 22 major metropolitan areas in the United States. Eight areas, including New York, the Washington area, Las Vegas, and San Diego, were recently added to the list. From the graphic, we can finally visualize just how much the Latino population in the U.S. is growing–much faster than the multiracial population.
