Trending Topics During Obama’s Twitter Town Hall

Thanks to Mashable, we now have a roundup of the behind-the-scenes Twitter flurry aimed at President Obama this afternoon. His Twitter Town hall discussion attracted 70,000 tweets.  TwitSprout and Simply Measured are the data collecting sites that provided the infographics, like the one above, which were published on Mashable.

According to the data, the most retweeted question was, “Would you consider legalizing marijuana to increase revenue and save tax dollars by freeing up crowded prisons, court rooms?” – but the question was not addressed.

The four cities that tweeted the most are Washington D.C., New York, L.A., and Chicago.
