INFOGRAPHIC: The DCU Relaunch

Noah J Nelson on Wednesday, Jun. 22nd

This awesome image [hi-res link], from graphic designer Joe Stone, captures the lineup of the 52 new DC Comics that will launch this September in icon form.

In something of a thematic follow-up to my family tree project, here is an infographic offering a visual guide to the DC Relaunch happening this September, completed for local comic shop Ace Comics. All of the new titles spin out from the centre of the DCU (where the Justice League sits), with the most integral characters being closest to the middle.

Hope you like it.

Oh we do, Joe, we do!

Check out more of Joe’s work at his website and Tumblr, including this awesome X-Men family tree.

Sifteo Cubes: Blurring the Edges of Play

I first encountered Sifteo Cubes back at IndieCade last October, and spent some time playing around with the little blocks which I first mistook for iPod Nanos.

THE WEEKENDER: PRESENT SHOCK

I’m going to go out on a limb here and promise you that this will be the first of two posts on Present Shock, the Douglas Rushkoff book that has been getting a mountain of attention in the tech press since it was released earlier this month.
