Cinemagraph Secrets Revealed?

on Monday, Jun. 20th

We love cinemagraphs at Turnstyle. A little while back we interviewed Jamie Beck and Kevin Burg, the duo who pioneered the technique that put animated .gifs through their next evolutionary step. Now shutterbug newsletter Photojojo has reverse engineered the process and has posted a step by step guide to creating your own cinemagraphs.

In just fourteen straightforward steps you too… wait. What? 14 steps?

Okay. Maybe making cinemagraphs isn’t for everyone. (Hello, ADHD!) Yet if you really want to… and we know some of you do, you can go for it now thanks to the Photojojo kids.

Before you do, check out Jamie Beck’s blog, From Me To You for more cinemagraph wonders.
