Meet Duckworth: South Central Skater

As the hip hop collective Odd Future is permeating the music and pop culture scenes, the L.A. skate culture they sprung from is in the spotlight too.

Meet Duckworth, a 22-year-old musician and design student who graced the streets of South Central Los Angeles (most recently known as South Los Angeles) as one of the few skaters in the area. He sat with Turnstyle and talked about his background as a young skater in the hood, and explained why skate culture still has a hold on him today.
