Matthew Lessner’s first feature film, “The Woods”, was an official selection in this year’s Sundance Film Festival. Part of the “New Frontier” section of the festival, Matthew’s film stands out not only as an experimental, satirical meditation on the absurdities of modern life, but was the first film to use crowd-funding service Kickstarter for production financing to be accepted into the festival.
